Grow your mycelium army to defend against invading mites.

Collect moisture to upgrade your defences by placing your mycelium near shimmering pools. Watch as your battalions of fungi grow and attack!

Due to time constraints the game operates on an endless mode (no rounds). If I continue this project in the future I would like to add (in order of priority):

  • Music and sound effects
  • Round system
  • More enemies, including bosses such as a millipede formed of segments that must all be defeated
  • Better and more varied terrain art
  • Better optimised algorithms for generating mycelium networks and attacks
  • Zombie fungus that can infect mites and make them fight for you

The game is broken, because it doesn't matter what the player deploys in an combination, or wher they are placed, not 1 single enemy creeper can be destroyed, so no meaningful resources can be gathered.  Every game game ends in quick disaster.

Hi, thanks for playing and leaving feedback. I agree that the balance needs some work as at the moment it is extremely difficult to not lose any life while your initial mycelium is growing. Once it has grown it will fare much better, especially once you upgrade it a few times. Unfortunately I did not get round to implementing a round system so eventually you will end up losing as each subsequent mite has more health, but if I continue the project then balance will be a top priority!
